When he spoke, I cried: Doctor shares experience when Duterte visited evacuation center in Marawi

For Duterte's critics, they attacked his health and speculated that Duterte was in a coma. But the president already dismissed the intrigue. He said he was in the "kama", not in coma.

Amid the many hates against President Duterte, a doctor expressed her admiration to the president for being a simple and sincere man.

Dr. Kezia Lorraine Rosario, a medical volunteer in Marawi City, she shared her encounter with Duterte when the latter made a visit for the evacuees.

She described how unsophisticated the visit was. She stated that it was all honest-to-goodness from the preparation down to the officials.

The attention only belonged to the evacuees of the Marawi siege and she cited how she appreciated the simpleness because it was too way different from what she experienced before as it showed no stain of political interest.

Rosario said she became emotional a bit of  Duterte's speech because it was full of love and sincerity.

"He spoke with strong conviction and sincerity. He was genuine with his vision for peace and love of country."

President Duterte visited the evacuation center we were manning several days ago. There was no fanfare - no welcoming party, no tarpuelin, no snacks and food even, no crowd. We were just all crammed into this one makeshift tent. All cabinet members and generals were there too. But the center stage belonged to the evacuees. They were seated well. While some of the dignitaries and high-ranking officials were standing and cramming in the corners. And it remained very simple. I love how different the event was from other political visits I have ever witnessed. When he spoke, I cried a bit. He spoke with strong conviction and sincerity. He was genuine with his vision for peace and love of country. #mypresident#helpmarawi #dttbdiaries #medicalresponder

PS. I'm allowing you to share this. But do not share this to cause more divide. This post was written out of admiration of a good experience. It was not done to prove anything right, or to take political sides, or disprove 'haters'. #respect

Meanwhile, the post already generated 6, 739 shares and 15,000 reactions on social media.

Neitzen Joy Jimenez also shared her support to Duterte, she said, "Our Presidents love for the people and the Motherland is real. This is the reason why he enjoys such a high trust rating even after a year in office. Because no other President is as sincere!"

While Eva Armas, "This is one of the reasons why I admired and respect him as President of the Philippines. I've never witnessed a President so humble like him. An ordinary guy who is happy and contented of what and who he is. Again , admirable indeed."

Also, Reynaldo Soria wrote, " His sincerity and genuine love of the Filipinos and the country as whole win the hearts of the masses and this is why I love President Duderte. I know that with the millions that love I am but a drop of water in an ocean and he don't know me still I love him because he loves us."
